Here we have a truly exceptional example of a Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverse Night & Day ref. 278.8.56
 
The case size of this piece is 46mm lug tip to lug tip, the rotating body of the case has a length of 33mm, and the width is 27mm not including the crown.
 
The overall condition of the piece is very good, with just one scratch on the top part of the casing below the strap fitting. The scratch is in line with the 11/12 markers. Refurbishing to have this removed is available upon request.
 
There are a couple of very light surface marks on the reverse of the case.
 
The dial is absolutely mint, displaying numerous guilloche patterns and featuring blued steel hands. 
 
The watch is powered by an automatic movement which is running well and keeping time perfectly.
 
The watch is presented on its original genuine alligator strap and secured by the original JLC signed deployment clasp.
 
The watch is presented in an original JLC leather pouch.
