These terms and conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase of goods from J G Winbush. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

 

  1. About us

 This website is operated by J.G.Winbush trading name of JGWINVEST Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11186675, registered office 22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. You can contact us at

  2. Our watches

We specialise in pre-owned and vintage luxury watches, jewellery and accessories. Every piece is authenticated and

inspected before sale and described as accurately as possible, including its condition and what is included. As our pieces are pre-owned, they may show signs of age and wear consistent with their description. Photographs are of the actual item wherever possible and are intended as an accurate representation, although slight variation in colour may occur between screens.

 

  3. Stock and availability

Most of our pieces are unique and available in a single quantity. Once a piece is sold, it is no longer available. A listing is an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer by us to sell.

  

  4. Orders and contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will confirm receipt of your order by email. A binding

contract is formed only when we accept your order and dispatch the goods, or otherwise confirm acceptance in writing. We may decline or cancel an order, for example where a piece is no longer available, where there has been a pricing or description error, or where we are unable to verify payment or identity. If we cancel, we will refund any payment in full.

 

  5. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We accept payment through Stripe and by direct bank transfer. In the rare event of an obvious pricing error, we are not obliged to sell at the incorrect price and will contact you before proceeding. Ownership of a piece passes to you only once we have received payment in full.

 

  6. Delivery

Delivery is covered by our Shipping & Delivery policy. All shipments are fully insured and require a signature on

delivery. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

  

  7. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your cancellation and return rights, including the terms for sourced, trade, international and modified orders, are

set out in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

  

  8. Warranty and authenticity

Every watch is sold with our authenticity guarantee and a minimum 6-month warranty, as set out in our Warranty & Authenticity Guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  

  9. Sourcing and special orders

Where we source a specific piece to your request, or carry out modification or service work to your specification, the terms in our Returns & Refunds policy apply, including any deposit and final-sale terms.

  

  10. Our liability

 10.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes

  liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for

  any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

 

  10.2 This clause does not affect our authenticity guarantee or the warranty set out in our Warranty & Authenticity

  Guarantee, nor your statutory rights.

  

  10.3 If you are a consumer. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our

  breach of these terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

  We supply goods for domestic and private use, and we have no liability to you for any business loss, including loss

  of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

 

  10.4 If you are a business or trade buyer. The following applies to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  (a) we exclude all implied terms, conditions and warranties other than those we expressly give in these terms;

  (b) we will not be liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, business interruption,

  loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss, whether arising in contract,

  tort including negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise; and

  (c) subject to clause 10.1, our total liability to you in connection with any order, whether in contract, tort or

  otherwise, is limited to the price paid for the goods to which the claim relates.

  

  10.5 This clause 10 sets out our full liability in respect of the goods we supply and the operation of this website.

 

  11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images and branding, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be used

without our permission.

  

  12. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

  13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Where this happens, we will contact you and, if necessary, arrange a refund.

 

  14. Changes to these terms

 We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you

  place it.

 

  15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive

jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under your local law.
