Here we have an exquisite example of the Lanco-Fon Alarm watch.

This watch has a case diameter of approximately 34mm (not including the crown) and the case condition is very good - only the lightest signs of wear, and the watch boasts very strong edges through the centre casing and lugs.

The watch is powered by a manual wind movement with an alarm function.

In first position, winding the crown towards you winds the movement, winding away from you winds the alarm.

In the second position you can set the alarm, which is indicated by the pointer hand.

In the third position you can adjust and set the time.

Above the 12 o'clock marker you can see a circle, this shows us if the alarm is activated or not.

When you have wound the alarm the circle will show the colour red, the alarm can be de-activated by turning the crown one click towards you - when it will show silver again.

Likewise after winding the watches movement the circle will be silver so to re-activate the alarm you should turn the crown one click away from you so the circle shows red again.

The watch has just been serviced and is keeping time accurately and functioning as expected.

The watch is currently fitted to a new, high quality, generic tan leather strap.
