Here we have a fantastic example of a Mulco Escafandra Super Compressor in almost complete original condition.

The crystal has been changed as the original was in very poor condition.

The casing is in true original unpolished condition, the dial and hands are completely original as well.

The movement is in fantastic condition and is keeping time very well.

The case size is approx 42mm not including the crowns.

The Super Compressor refers to the design integrated into the caseback, with an inner and outer shell that compresses as the pressure against it increases. This was designed at a time when rubber seals were in their early stages and would be worn out very quickly.

The watch wears very comfortably on the wrist and has a wondefully rugged charm about it.
