Here we have the incredibly rare and very beautiful Universal Geneve Vanguard 1200, in solid 18k gold and powered by the UG cal.1200

The case size of this piece is approx 36mm not including the crown, the condition is overall good for a watch of this age that has been worn. It is unpolished so still boasts the original sharp lines and finish, but there are surface marks throughout.

The casing splits into three pieces and there is some slight wear in areas where the case has been opened.

The caseback has a beautiful engraving featuring the text 'Vanguard' and '1200'

The dial and hands are in very good condition.

The movement is in good working condition, keeping time to within a few seconds per day.

The watch is currently presented on a generic, genuine crocodile strap.
