Here we have an incredible example of a Zenith Gran Prix Paris 1900 pocketwatch.
 
At the time of writing I cannot find another example quite like this with two engine turned case covers.
 
Whilst the dial is in overall very good condition, there is one unmissable hairline crack going right the way across it.
 
The watch lies in a silver 0.800 closing case with an excellent engine-turned finish. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and signed: “Zenith” with its logo and numbered: 2295515 2983. The cuvette shows several medals and is decoratively signed: “Grand Prix Paris 1900, Medaille D’Or Geneve 1896, Ancre, Levees Visibles, Double Plateau, 15 rubis, Balancier Compense, Spiral Breguet”.
 
The piece is keeping time well but might benefit from a service to improve functionality, when setting the time it feels that there is more resistance than there should be.
